On an overcast
morning, a five showed for this short hike which had been selected
when expecting a warmer day. We started at Slacks Overlook with a few
drops of rain. After a while, the rain stopped so we removed jackets.
As expected, the stream we crossed had little water, but we
nevertheless detoured to the falls. We proceeded back to the Slacks
Overlook for lunch before heading home under dry skies, and returned
in time to avoid foot ball traffic.
